Mossmorran Action Weekend: Camp, Rally or join us Online

Good morning...

The Mossmorran Action Weekend is nearly here!

We are very pleased to announce the camp site is being raised right now in the beautiful fields of West Fife, not far from Mossmorran itself, ready for you to arrive.

You can join us online, at camp, or at the gates of Mossmorran.

If you’re joining in person, take a COVID test before you leave home. We will ask anyone who has not taken a test in the last 48 hours to take one at the gate, and if you test positive you will need to go home.

Participants are welcome to arrive from 6pm tonight for camping only. Our full programme will begin on Saturday morning with breakfast.

This is the location of the Mossmorran Action Weekend camp site:

Directions to the camp site

If you are on foot, take the train to Cowdenbeath, then the 19, 19a or 19b bus to Crossgates, which runs multiple times an hour. From Crossgates the site is a 15 minute walk South along the Inverkeithing Road.

On Sunday there is an RMT strike affecting ScotRail trains. We have alternatives in place, see our website for details.

If you are arriving by bicycle on Friday or Saturday, we recommend using Cowdenbeath railway station as the journey is flatter, but Dalgety Bay is also suitable. The route is on moderately busy roads. Bear in mind we cannot take responsibility for cycles on site.

If you are driving, please drive through the gate and park in the field. Don’t park in the lane, the main road, or at the farm shop, as this will cause a nuisance.

If you are in the area and need a lift to the site, including from the bus stop, please text 07908 573 413.

Camp updates and packing list

Join the Mossmorran Action Weekend Telegram channel to get live updates on site.

Campers should follow the links to our website for the Programme, Covid and Access Guide and What to Bring.

Join for the rally and online

Attendance at the camp site is limited to help ensure COVID safety. If you’ve not signed up to attend, consider joining us for the Sunday rally, meeting at the gates of Mossmorran at noon. Details of the rally are on Facebook.

We will also be live broadcasting parts of the weekend, including the Saturday mid-afternoon plenary and from Sunday’s rally, with a chance to ask questions of some of our speakers. Stay tuned on Facebook for updates and to take part.

We’re looking forward to seeing you online, at camp or at the Mossmorran gates!
